Thread: Yahoo Video Chat w/ Kopete not working

i installed kubuntu 9.10 on compaq 110c netbook. trying use kopete video chat through yahoo when try open webcam request nothing happens. installed libjasper1 , libjasper-runtime didn't help. when wife tries start video chat through windoze yahoo client tells not using compatible client video chat. spend lot of time away home , have working can see family while gone. ideas? in advance.

have had luck in getting work? i've not been able find working solution far. kopete website indicates supports webcams yahoo http://docs.kde.org/development/en/k...rotocols-yahoo
