image disk and WD PiDrive - Raspberry Pi Forums

i have image disk large 128 giga (file image.img).

in standard mode if have sd card of 128 giga use win32diskimager put , boot raspberry normally.

bougth pidrive of western digital connect raspberry 3.

can tell me how can put image disk (128 giga) on pidrive step step?

have not sd of 128 giga extract image.

get second sd card, size, @ least 8gb. install raspbian system on it. mount 128gb sd card in usb adaper. connect both 128gb sd card (in adapter) , pidrive pi , boot new sd card. use "dd" copy image 128gb sd card device pidrive. can either boot pidrive , (using raspi-config) expand root partition, or while still booted on second sd card, use "gparted" (which you'll have install) expand root partition. or create 1 or more additional partitions in empty space, should choose. depends on want final system like.
