Preparing same-size images of varying size subjects.

i put post on saving web think bit different.

if shoot big painting, resolution of detail - brushstrokes, canvas, imperfections adds overall feel of image. if shoot tiny/small image same lens/camera , fills screen details relief map of himalayas! can around that? notice sharpening can make difference principles here?

there's going on when photograph painting that's 2 meters wide , next 1 20 cm. sort of things should aware of when absolute accuracy in reproduction ideal?

i know lighting important struggle limitations of equipment. have 3 flashes , best attempt has been put 2 off camera @ sort of 45 degrees 1 in middle bouncing up. sorry if last part more photography ps i'm guessing there might few photographers out there ;-)

if original painting , camera of higher quality, not expect see difference in reproduction. use macro , tight can small stuff.your camera has many pixels available given subject,so fill frame , maximize pixels available.i times shoot artwork outside on overcast,even light day,but strobes fine well. go softer light doing artwork,but can done using flash. shoot raw data can.you post samples here showing results , dilemna using pixentral.
