hello all
i have circuit 220v ac 5v dc 2a below pic.
if ignore emi filter , work?
i mean if change emi filter capacitor, have 5v 2a in output?

the filter stops hash being thrown onto mains,
but stops mains spikes getting circuit.
one day fridge turn on, , circuit goes in smoke.

i sense beginners level in electronics.
if so, stay away mains connected circuits.
you might kill else.
