32-bit CS4 and Memory Under Vista x64

hello,

i wondering if 32-bit version of photoshop cs4 can access more 4 gb of memory if it's running under vista x64. i'm not sure 4 gb limitation enters picture--if it's operating system or application itself.

i've tried use cs4 x64 as possible, there aren't lot of plug-ins available yet, necessitating use of 32-bit version @ times.

no, 32 bit application can address 4 gig of ram. additional ram in system can used os disk caching, performance bit.

4 gig enters picture because maximum value/memory address representable in 32 bit integers/pointers.
