i found many threads via googling, nothing clear hoping answer engineer.

aim remove 4 usb ports , replace them 2.54mm pins. 2 of ports (by means of header) repositioned inside case remaining two, either unused or wired usb serial adaptor can make use of modified synaptics touchpad, leaving gpio free other uses.


doubts near these ports susceptible damage heat , can same unused ethernet port.
not intend salvage parts, destruction viable method of removing them.

no, cannot make 1 usb port, waiting pi3a not option. don't care warranty - cost more return buy new one.

however, avoid in entirety, possible buy or arrange buy rpi3 without these parts installed @ all?

unless soldering iron , have equipment in production desoldering gear, messing around board high temps fools errand. easy lift foils when applying heat , tension remove hardware.

missing filename after '-o'
