problem to connect pi with putty - Raspberry Pi Forums

i facing problem in connecting pi laptop when search pi ip address using angry ip scanner shows it's host name recovery.mshome.net .and if using same ip address appear in angry ip scanner through putty shows connection time out...
can ? need urgent

welcome forums...

begin with, forums not asynchronous system answering doing on own time, asking answer on urgent basis unlikely timely response.

so.. os laptop running? may able connect pi using hostname (the default "raspberrypi") setting target in putty "<hostname>.local". supposed hostname getting not pi. rather, appears remote server.
