hi,
i'm running ubuntu 8.04 on vmware esx 3.5. esx runnning on dell power edge 2950 , vm server on netapp lun.
server runs apache , jasper reporting tools.
last night @ midnight become unresposive....the server , able ping it, apache , jasper not working.
anyhow, found in syslog time teh crash occurred:

7:45 restart done me. have idea "mptscsih: ioc0: task abort: " stuff about? i'm seeing online points being issue lsi logic sas card, vm, i'm not sure how apply.

insight appreciated.

i saw these same sorts of errors morning on vm running 8.04.2 on esx4.0. cause loss of network connectivity our netapp 5 seconds. have evidence there may have been network problem @ time occurred?

missing filename after '-o'
