Ultrasonic thickness gauge by Arduino

hi

i new arduino. thinking use ardunio control, transmit , display data ultrasonic thickness gauge 1 in photo attached. since digital thickness gauge thinking connect ardunio output of the board of gauge transmit data via bluetooth shield mobile app.
here of capabilities of thickness device:
* ultrasonic thickness meter,
* 10mm, 5mhz transducer,
* thickness range 1.2 ~ 225m   
* thickness resolution 0.1mm   
* lcd digital display
* 10 pre-set velocities
* sound velocity range: 1000~9999m/s
* auto calibration
* low battery indication

what think? feasible control , transmit using arduino?

does gauge have communication port of kind?  if not difficult control or data unit.
