Starting Over - How? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi,
very strange behavior:
i tried install 1.5 on 2 different servers , installation seemed ok, except ftp step. don't remember said, effect configuration file not written or not database info not in there , user administrator not created.
so when went site got message connection db not possible.
so, on 1 of servers tried start over, dropping tables database , removing files document root.
downloading archive again joombla site, expanding , starting browser on site http://www.universaldocument.com. instead of getting preinstallation check
please remember completely
remove installation directory
but don't want because try install again. tried clearing browser cache, no difference.
where remember tried install previously?? mean wiped directory website , database, there should nothing left old installation, right?
can that?
thanks,
merlin
