Adding variables to url path - storing variables to session - SOLVED ! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi there !

i need regarding url paths in joomla. wanted add variable url path, http://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/index.php?option= ... itemid=29&currency=usd . variable filled "post" form inside code. need know in core can make change - is, if need change core .

another question: how can content of url path ? mean, know can partially $mosconfig_live_site,but rest ? can session variable.

the last one: how can store variables joomla session ?

what want do:
i want have drop down box let customer select currency. i'm trying pass variable throught out whole session. variable control currency display , make appropriate conversion. last part easy, i'm unexperienced when comes joomla , although i'm programmer, php skills not best (still learning ;) )
