Saving a part-path

in cs3 drawing complicated selection path around human figure, using magnetic lasso tool. took on half hour complete, , wanting "save" part of way through, in case made mistake later

how pause , save such path when in middle of it? seems can't "save" when lasso icon still active, because go part of menu lasso icon jump on place.

is case have put in temporary closure in path, if you've got half way , want come later?

i don't think there way, better off using pen tool this. save @ will.

missing filename after '-o'
