force reload of form page (newbie) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,

i'm working on first component (kind of helpdesk internal usage in company). in overview (view1) list of messages shown. clicking on message visitors can see details of message (view2) button edit message in form (view3). pretty basic stuff... use mvc model , used stuff com_content example. when visitor edits message in form (view3) , returns view2, modifications visible. however, when message re-edited in view3, old contents shown again, due caching behaviour of browser. question is: joomla way force browser reload when form reopened?

problem solved, upgrading latest built solved made problem dissapear. still interested in underlying mechanism though...
