in ubuntu 8.10
downloaded tar file.
http://www.srware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=835

when move need in directory downloaded it.

first move it:

code:
sudo mv iron-linux.tar.gz /opt/
unpack:

code:
tar xvf iron-linux.tar.gz
move directory:

code:
cd /opt/iron-linux/
read read me

build:

code:
./configure make sudo make install

missing filename after '-o'
