HELP Transmitting Photos Via RF - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello, everyone!

need in area have no knowledge. after reading threads, seems of well-versed in technology, , obvious products, i'm needing on. so, here goes...

in need of information , or products that, in conjunction, allow stationary motion-detecting infrared camera transmit , send it's 4000x3000pix(4:3) or 8000x4500pix(16:9) photos via rf electronic device such tablet or smartphone wireless rf transmitter/receiver may plug device lightning cable iphones.

quantity of photos send daily: 1 500+
quality of photos send: no less 1/2 above resolutions
distance of sending 0.75miles 1.5miles (or further)
method of sending: camera+rf ---> rf receiver/transmitter ---> tablet/phone
power source: external solar and/or internal aa's (no more 8)
abilities: restrict "most" external access these pictures other rf receivers/transmitters

cellular transmission , bluetooth transmission not options, , satellite usage costly.

hmm.
divide problem more managable bits.

first, source.
8k x 4.5k infrared camera? you've got 1 in mind? if not, little research necessary.

you're wanting send 500 8000 x 4500 pixel photos in 24 hours.
if they're 8 bits per pixel, uncompressed, make 200kb/s. not unreasonable.
not sure mean "quality of photos" - thinking of compressing them using jpeg or similar?

next, destination.
"a electronic device such tablet or smartphone" mean anything. how input photos depend on available connections on device.

, now, bit in middle.
2½ km, rf not cellular or satellite, , sort of encryption prevent access.
that's going difficult. amateur radio -ham - has been looking @ sort of problem century, suggest asking them it.

finally, power source.
solar panels come in various sizes, you'll have work out power need.
without details of camera, , how power needs, can't give ball-park figure.
8 aa cells (i assume store solar-panel energy, use @ night when infrared camera useful) @ 2.5ahr each , 1.2v per cell, you're looking @ 24wh total.
example, pi take amp @ 5v (5w), run cells down in 5 hours. not quite enough, suspect.
you'll have rethink bit.
