Spot Channel Suggestion

i have been here many times requesting rewrite of how spot channels work in photoshop. long time thinking along lines of spot channel layers etc etc. simpler answer dawned on me other day, entail lot less programming. why not allow control on spot channels in document via channel mixer adjustment layer? mean is, when added channel mixer adjustment layer layer, having control on normal cmyk channels, have sliders spot colours contained in document. way have many different layers masks or vector masks, total control on inks make layer. after working week on complex packaging job involving multiple spot inks, , cursing photoshop's name, solution came me in eureka moment. excited thinking it!

and knock out area in other layers/channels?
