Thread: Slow machine, system logs bursting


hey guys,

i'm on karmic, 32 bit. cpu silly high , machine being slow. log files keep growing on , on following lines. these logs hundreds of meg in size. makes hard type commands using terminal.

i have no idea literally no idea mean.

give hints should looking, or fire magic commands make stop or fix it?

many in advance

do have ata hard drive in machine? looks me or controller potentially going bad. i'd suggest making back-up copy of data before proceeding further. can give specs on machine?
