Thread: Need to find previous version of Handbrake

i tried update handbrake... failed.

when downloaded x86 64 bit deb package, package installer complained conflicted installed version. removed installed version using synaptic (foolish me) , tried again.

now, find new version requires versions of following libraries more recent on system.
  • libsoup2.4-1,
  • libstdc++6.


want find previous version of handbrake... not in 9.04 repositories (according synaptic) , google searches have led me page @ handbrake site listing old version, pointing download page link new version...

so, short of upgrading 9.10 (which not going weekend, since donwloading whole system takes far, far ong am), how can previous version removed using synaptic.

this ppa has latest handbrake 9.04

missing filename after '-o'
