hey guys, updated ubuntu few days ago, , can't turn on more, when power laptop gets stuck after ubuntu logo, can see white _ on top left corner. should do?

really need more info, version of ubuntu?

first thought kernel updates mess graphics drivers might need select older kernel grub menu.

of course if ubuntu os menu hidden. legacy grub (generally jaunty , prior) you'd press esc show menu during boot, whereas grub2 (karmic) you'd have press space bar during boot show menu.

if know nothing installation let's start booting live cd , live desktop post output terminal of:

btw that's lower case l.
