Change max value of potentiometer

hello everyone!

i'd know if there function or way define min , max value potentiometer, example: i'm using mechanical part tour potentiometer little bit, means potentiometer doesn't start in beginning , doesn't finish in end. so, how can make space potentiometer tour means 0 255 start end, respectively?

hi, after updating arduino 1.6.10 when compiling same code obtain error code: [select] settime' not declared in scope how can fix it? quote how can fix it? don't call functions aren't defined. post code (all of it) , exact error message(s).
