Multithumb not loading .js files - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hello,
i guess posted in wrong forum earlier. but, i'm trying set multithumb gallery in content editor of custom user module (module manager>new). seems wont work way. tried both methods of using {mosimage} , directly inserting image via editor button. {mosimage} method doesn't work, jus puts word {mosimage} in module, unless i'm doing wrong method. when using insert image button, can thumbnails show, clicking on them opens full image in normal browser window (no lightbox, slimbox, greybox or others). did notice when looking @ source code loaded website, did not load of javascripts (lightbox.js, prototype.js, , others). when inserting images in regular content items (main body), scripts show on source code.
is mt designed way, or doing wrong? set portfolio shows on pages in site, not using regular content items in main body, rather in it's own module. possible? also, did have mambots enabled on user defined custom module.
thx

hi,
it's not problem multithumb, it's design flaw in joomla. normally, headers output after content processed, gives mambots (here multihumb) chance whatever needed make work.
but modules different. here modules processed after header generation done, if mambot tries generate appropriate header, won't work. bad, not bug in multihumb.
a remedy should work adding headers template manually , select "add headers : never" in multithumb's backend.
there instructions on home page how add these headers.
note: have ideas later version might circumvent header problem, until must add them manually if want use in modules.
