How to read schematic: What is a connector?


i googled it, still don't understand meaning.

precisely left example, saw before can't figure out stands for. mean wires (1,2,3,4,5 , 6) wired together? nothing else? or "real" electronic component?

it's connector 6 pins in single row.
the pins not shorted together
