Linked Files in Photoshop

i need create large multi-page website using many photoshop files. i'm wondering if there way have "source" photoshop file used in many other psd files and, when updated, automatically updates file in of psd files it's used in... when link art in illustrator or indesign.

so, example, if create header navigation in psd file named "header.psd" , place file called "home_page.psd" , "contact_page.psd", if need update original header.psd, there way update original , have changes cascade home_page.psd , contact_page_psd?

umm, use dreamweaver , fireworks! sorry, whole approach seems more little clunky, given nature of work. no means photoshop suitable replacement learning intricacies of web design, no matter how may loathe having learn it... , once do, issues resolve - both dw , fw auto-update references psds in cs4.
