Thread: PS3 controller as Joypad on Ubuntu

dell dimension c521 ubuntu 9.10
i've found recognises input device, doesn't recognise inputs gives, went "/dev/input" , turns out "event14" ps3 controller.
i've found in "/dev/bus/usb/002" file called "014" ps3 controller.
when plug controller pc, new file comes under "/dev" called "/dev/usb". contains "hiddev0".

found these out via plug & unplugging controller under these files.

i've been able use on windows before, linux whole new game me^^; discovered controller had marked down somewhere in here, , apparently computer recognise hid.
also, checked system log viewer , whenever controller plugged in log.

missing filename after '-o'
