Bridge CS4 and Multi-core CPUs

does know if bridge in cs4 version benefits dual-core processor? thumbnails take loooong time. also, if indeed benefit 2-core:
1- benefit 4-core on 2-core?
2- , value judgement: money tight crazy not scrape $200 more 4-core @ date , time if bridge not [yet?] benefit 4-core? you, in next 3 years think cs hindered old 2-core? 12mp camera next year , use multiple [3]hdr exposures , multiple layers. [i know 8gb ram].

bridge makes use of gpu if enabled in preferences>advanced. can speed preview processing choosing display embedded preview.

bridge gpu features include following:

* preview panel
* full-screen preview
* slideshow
* review mode
