Current Control for Variable Inductor

i have project variable inductor. try keep inductor @ linear region. this, use secondary winding on toroid. when current on first winding exceeds limit , inductor reaches saturation region, want give negative current secondary winding balancing net current
for example, critical current 2 amps. , apply 2.5 amps. after level, desire apply 0.5a current secondary winding stabilizing inductance value. can arduino uno ?
