Localhost error - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have installed joomla 1.0.13 stable, onto sol10 coolstack (apache2, mysql5.0.33, php5.2.0). though config file has server name url's in web pages coming http://localhost/joomla instead of http://www.xxxxxx.xxx/joomla

do have joomla installed on local server or hosted server?
