Recommended Keyboard/Mouse for Pi 3 - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all,

purchased pi 3 5 year old daughter. has shown interest in computers , thought have use.

has been going far. installed noobs onto sd card , raspian onto pi 3. used keyboard , mouse things set , hooked bluetooth mouse , keyboard got her. struggle began. pi shows them connected not connect. know not pi because tried them on computer , still wouldn't work. mouseless , keyboardless.

keyboard/mouse wireless (not sure want try blue tooth again) works on pi 3? looking wireless because pi hooked main tv can sit @ coffee table , can work on together. once taken care of can start on scratch , "learning" as can. play more minecraft :d , have brother try , steal mouse.

i go in logitech unifying series.

k400 lightweight keyboard built in trackpad. have older k400r, there's newer k400 plus now. retails around $25, can found on sale less $20.

general use built-in trackpad works fine, gaming might want add mouse. m510, m325 or m317 might better children smaller hands. nice thing unifying series can pair multiple devices single dongle, , power efficient don't put load on usb ports.

hey everyone, i'm trying compile simple code on rpi3 using geany. code written using code::blocks on windows , working without problem. errors i'm getting are: untitled.c:33:5: error: ‘for’ loop initial declarations allowed in c99 or c11 mode , untitled.c:33:5: note: use option -std=c99, -std=gnu99, -std=c11 or -std=gnu11 compile code understand code not problem way i'm compiling it. can give me advice? you need add 1 of suggested options compile command configured in geany, in menu.. build -> set build commands add "-std=c99" after "gcc" in compile , build boxes. missing filename after '-o'
