Wacom Tablet control is jerkey when using lasso

i use wacom graphire tablet. when use polygonal lasso tool i've noticed movement of not smooth. every time click create "anchor" , move pen create next anchor, there slight hesitation before line "snaps" new pen position. doesn't happen when use mouse. i've noticed 2 different tablets, too, it's not isolated. memory cache thing, perhaps, or there kind of setting smooth out useage?

i lot of photo retouching , precision critical - primary reason want use tablet begin with.

any suggestions appreciated!
