i baffled - maybe can me?

what in joomla (or joomfish) converts language string Äà Да ? (example in russian multibyte language)

i need same in component can not work. can shed light on this?

ok - found myself.

the answer line:

in header of html output converts strings.

this set in _iso variable in language file of individual language.

now next question...

how russian translator work on language file? have sort of translation tool enables him enter Да (for yes) , automatically converted Äà (which surely makes no sense russian).
