Thread: What is a good linux distro for low spec computers?

hi computer im using has low specs. i'm running ubuntu 9.1 it's kind of slow. heard there xubuntu before go running want know if there other operating systems low spec computers mine. run smoother.

here things can say:

256mb of ram
hard drive 12gb
, if i'm not mistaken pentium iii

heard of " puppy linux"...not sure either.

missing filename after '-o'
