User Passwords - Encryption issues Joomla 1.0.13 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi i've relaunched site using joomla 1.0.13 previous build of mambo. i've built site scratch in past i've used moodle third party system. using moodles ability reference external database, i've been able setup details allowing moodle use mos_users table in database.

now i'm using joomla when same, using md5 encryption option, none of passwords match. i've looedk database , can see encryption seems different through joomla have no idea why.

i've moved users on old site, myself , log joomla site seems happen , there password encryption increases in length.

i thought may somethign community builder installation having removed it didn't work , having upgraded lastest version didn't work.

any explanation of sign posting might find answer appreciated.

thanks in advance.

rob
